Description

White pine, rectangular basket mold. Bottom is 6 1/4" x 11 7/16", flat, and has a hole 13/16" in diameter in its center. The corners are rounded. Tapers upward 4 1/4" to a flat top, to which is glued, nailed, and screwed a 1/2" piece of white pined, relieved from either end to a 3/16" to 1/4" thick center. Nearly illegible script at the bottom of the end near the accession number reads: "Jr. 2 H..."
