Description

White pine with machined dovetail (finger joint) construction. Interior originally divided into six compartments. Two partitions missing, and the lid is missing. Lid was originally attached with wire hinges. Interior and bottom exterior are natural finish; exterior sides painted brown. Paper label on the front, "SHAKERS GENUINE GARDEN SEEDS MOUNT LEBANON, N.Y.". Labels on the edge of each compartment,"carrot", "sage and pepper", "tomato", "flowers" and "corn".
