Between-centers turned mold-like object likely made of aspen. Some pin holes in the top indicate some use. Hole measuring 1/2" in diameter drilled blind into the center of the bottom. Turned channel around the outside of the bottom, into which two round-head, #14 wood screws are partially inserted.
