Off-white square handkerchief with border of heavier linen 15/16" wide, separated from the more transparent center weave by an open stitch.
The donor stated that Sister Evelyn gave her the handkerchief, and that it was made by Sister Evelyn’s natural sister, Emma, from flax grown at Hancock about 1867.
