Description

Box-joint compass for marking out and measuring during boot-making process. The legs are cut down to make the hinge, with one leg with a single central protrusion with the other cut to create the exterior housing for the other. The pieces are held in place by a circular pin. Near the hinge the legs are rectangular, but 1 11/16" from the hinge the edges are shaved and the legs turn conical and come to a point after 4 9/16".
