Four-gallon stoneware jug with salt glaze. Outside is glossy tan partially obscured by what appears to be layer of chipping white paint covering jug from base to about a quarter of handle. Inside coated with dark brown Albany slip. Throwing lines run up jug to base of handle. Groove runs around base of neck.
