Description

A double ended mortise gauge carved from beech with spurs 1/8" apart at one end and 3/8" apart at the other end. The two spurs 1/8" apart are filed into the end of a single piece of steel bar held in place by a maple wedge. The other two spurs are separate steel pins driven through gauge and filed to knife edges. Used to layout muntin and stile mortises on window sash.
