Coopered pail with pine staves and bottom, two iron or steel hoops (bottom one missing), steam-bent hickory handle, turned hardwood attachment lugs (one a replacement), and hardwood locking pins (one missing). Painted salmon inside and out, which has aged to a reddish-brown.
