Description
Octagon-shaped woven poplar box with lid. Lid and bottom of box are lined with skiver, a style of white leather. Top edge of box is lined with bolstered blue satin. Outside base of box is designed with blue and pink abstract stencil design. Five light gold bows are on sides of box - on lid, two light gold bows act as hinges and one (with attached elastic) loops over a bead 3/8" in diameter to close box. Inside is lined with faded, pale blue satin. Three items are affixed to interior of box via loops of the exterior bows. First is pale blue satin, eight-segmented, "tomato" pincushion approximately 2" in diameter. Second is a ridged wax "cup" about 1" in diameter. Third is a blue sateen strawberry-shaped emery with blue felt top.
