Description

Half-bushel basket mold turned between-centers of hemlock. Mold turned from in the round blank. Top turned with indentation while bottom is flat. 1 1/2" diameter hole drilled through center of mold and plugged at top with pine plug with iron rod protruding 8 3/8" from the bottom. Six other holes are drilled blind in the bottom apparently for two sizes of legs. One set is 2" in diameter; other set 1 1/2". Mold scribed at 10 7/16", 11 9/16", and 12 5/8" from top.
