Description

Spool holder consisting of a frame with chestnut feet and middle cross-bar and birch verticals, base, and top assembled using mortise and tenon joints and four, heavy steel needles (b-e), which fit through top, middle cross-bar, and base so as to hold spools in place. Needle has a between-centers turned sapling birch ball grip, (c) has a between-centers turned birch ball grip, (d) has a face-carved "ball" grip, and (e) has a whittled Sycamore cuboid grip.
