Steam-bent maple round carrier rim and swing handle. Four swallow-tails secured by copper tacks. White pine bottom header held by copper points. Handle swings on copper rivets peened over copper burrs on the inside. Four pairs of holes drilled around the rim for tying lining and accessories to the carrier. Exterior varnished over natural wood.
