Description

Maple rocking chair with no arms, stained dark. Shawl rail at top. Seat and back upholstered in beige fabric with floral or leafy branch and diamond pattern.

Notes

Commercially manufactured chair, probably made by the Seymour Chair Company of Troy, NY. Resembles a production rocking chair with upholstered back and seat, but the runners are different: Shaker rocker runners are blade-shaped, while these are of the same cylindrical form as the rails.
