Description

(.1) Open, round wood box with a beech band, a white pine bottom header, birch shoe pegs securing bottom, and copper tacks securing band. Formerly contained (.2): rubber washer (1/16" x 1 1/2", 1/4" arbor hole); three 1 3/4" circular blades with 5/8" arbor hole (023 "C.T. Co, Troy NY", 17 "U.T.D. Co., Athol, MA, and 045 "Circular Tool Co, Prov. R.I.); two 1 15/16" circular blade, one with 7/16" arbor hole and one with 3/8" arbor hole; thirteen 2 1/4" circular blades with 5/8" arbor holes (1 unnumbered, MTD; 1 no. 17, Morse; 1 no. 19, Morse; 1 no. 21, MTD; 1 .023; 1 .028; 3 .032, Thurco; 2 .032; 1 .032, B. & S. Mfg. Co.; 1 .032, Circular Tool Co.); one 2 3/8" circular blade with 7/8" arbor hole; four 2 1/2" circular blades with 5/16" arbor holes; four 2 1/2" circular blades with 7/8" arbor hole; one unlabeled, 3/4" arbor hole; one 1/32, H.S., B-S; one B. & S. Mfg. Co., .036"; one N.T.D. & T. Co.; two 2 7/8" circular blades, 1" arbor hole, both 2 7/8" x .035"; three 2 3/4" circular blades, two 3/4", 1 1/2" arbor holes; one no. 20 (U.T.D. Co., Athol, MA); one .051" C.T. Co., Prov. RI; one no. 20 (B. & S. Mfg. Co., Prov. RI), 1/2" arbor; and one 15/16" basswood dowel, about 4" long, whittled down at one end to fit into a 7/8" arbor hole.
