Cupboard

Description

Double cupboard over double case of eight drawers. Case, shelves, face trim, tongue-and-groove back of white pine. Two frame and panel doors of white pine. Rails and stiles have beaded edges on insides. Hinged with cast iron butt hinges. Original door latches removed and replaced with cast iron surface mount catches. Half-mortise lock in proper right door removed and replaced with a brass surface mount lock. Original key hole plugged and new hole cut. Eight drawers of white pine have two turned maple knobs each. All corners dovetailed. Five tapped holes in proper right end for pegs but all are gone.
