Description

Coopered lidded firkin (a). Bottom, lid (b), and staves of pine; two hoops, a lid rim, and bail attachments of iron or steel; a wire bail; and a hardwood turned handle, probably birch. All outside surfaces except the bail and handle painted yellow, as well as inside of the lid. The inside of the bucket is unfinished.
