White pine box, lid, and dividers. Box finger jointed at corners and bottom nailed on. Lid has stiffeners dadoed into ends and is hinged with staple hinges. Exterior surfaces are painted marbled red. Label on front of box: "Shakers Genuine Garden Seeds Mount Lebanon, N.Y." Compartments labeled Beets, Carrot, Sage & Pepper, Tomato, Flowers, Corn.
