Description

Bleached linen in a transparent, open plain weave with a pattern of 1/4" squares created by weaving in two thicker threads. A strip of more densely woven linen approximately 1/2" wide sewn on the back along all edges.

Notes

The donor, who spent much of her childhood and early adulthood living at the Mount Lebanon Church Family, indicated that this neckerchief belonged to Sister Maria Lapsley, who was a nurse for the Church Family.
