Steam-bent ash band feathered at ends and overlapped to form cylinder. Pine bottom fit into cylinder. Overlap held by vertical row of seven iron tacks at outside end plus two more tacks (one near top, one near bottom) at middle of overlap. Bottom held in place with cut iron brads.
