Measure with pine bottom, steam-bent chestnut side band, feathered overlap secured with iron tacks. A vertical row of 12 tacks hold the outside band end to the underlap; three other tacks outside hold the two layers together while three more tacks in a vertical row hold the inside end to the outside. Bottom held by headless iron brads.
