Steam-bent maple oval box (a) and lid (b) rims. Three swallow-tails on the box and one on the lid, secured by copper tacks. White pine top and bottom headers held by copper points. Swallow-tails are full thickness veneer to tip, with no taper. Dark brown inside and out, possibly stained, and varnished over. The box corresponds to a #4 box in the 11-box series.
