Description

Oval cherry carrier with three "fingers" an a swing handle. Carrier is lined in yellow silk and has four silk bows tied on the outside of the box, that originate from the interior of the box. Affixed to the interior by each bow is an object: the first, yellow silk "strawberry" emery with yellow felt top; the second, a yellow silk eight-segmented pincushion created with dark yellow thread; the third, a 1" long cylinder of wax; and the fourth, cream-colored felt needle case with two small pieces of material in the inside. Copper tacks hold swallowtails, wire brads hold bottom, copper trunk rivets and burrs hold swing handle.
