Rectangular black ash splint basket. Split rim with crossed lashing. Half round rim. Uprights 5/8" - 1/4" wide; weavers 1/8" wide. Bottom is filled with 3/4" wide weavers and uprights. Overhead, bonnet-shaped handle, 3/4" wide, rises 8 3/8" above basket and is attached to interior on long sides.
