Description

Basket mold turned between centers from a blank made from five pieces of white pine, pegged together. After turning, the top (flat) was carved to square, while the bottom (also flat) was left round. At some point in time after turning, nails were driven into the mold to stabilize it. A hole measuring 1 1/4" in diameter is drilled through the center of the mold.
