Brown silk bonnet said to be made by Sister Henrietta Spooner for Sister Myra Green, Enfield, NH

Description
Cardboard (?) bonnet covered with chocolate grosgrain silk. Rounded crown. Flounce begins and ends about 1/2" from front edge, is unpleated, and is 5" long at front and 4 1/2 long at back. Top of flounce is same color as crown. Interior and underside of flounce lined with light brown silk that is stitched with diamond shapes to give the illusion of quilting. Dark brown silk ribbon ties are attached to underside, front edge of flounce, and are 1 1/2" wide x 17 1/2" long.
