Description

Peg wheel to mark positions for pegs. The peg wheel stake and surrounding framework are brass. The stake is held within a framework by a metal screw. The stake consists of a cylindrical shaft 1 1/8" long. At one end there is a small wheel with 11 spikes. The brass framework resembles a chess pawn with a hole bored through the middle of the sphere. The framework is set into a turned wooden handle. At the base of the handle there is a strip of leather nailed on either end into the center of the base, creating a loop.
