Description

Dark red dress with apron front, opens on one side, pin to close. Bodice and sleeves are lined with purple twilled cotton. Black twilled bias tape at neckline and 4 3/4" lining of black cotton along the hem of the skirt. Printed black on black cotton fabric lines the cuff. 1" black velvet trim at cuff edge, a red round faceted glass button at cuff. Cuffs angled on the bias. Mostly machine sewn, some hand-stitching - hand over cast at seams, hand stitched outer patch for reinforcement on sleeve. Waist has dropped almost 6 1/2" down from armscye, full gathered pleats from apron front all around.
