One from a bundle of seven basket handles, varying slightly in size. Six are flat with no notches, and one has a rounded underside with a single notch. One end of the notched handle has broken off. Bundle is tied with string. A paper tag is attached with string, with hand-printed black ink: "Shaker made / 7 Basket Handles / Church Family Shops / MT. Lebanon, N.Y. / Shakers / No. 2137-E".
