Description

Cast-iron wood burning stove with forge fire box door pintles and binges, latch bar and catch, and draft door hinge. Stove consists of a bottom plate (a), a fire box (b), the fire box door (c), and four legs (d-g) cast with tapered dovetail plates that fit into corresponding dovetailed ways cast into underside of bottom. Door latch has a between centers turned wooden knob that is heavily finished and charred making identification non-destructively impossible. One round (1/3" diameter) smoke flue is located at back of top.
