Laundry draining rack, North Family, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Drying rack consisting of a white ash frame with four black ash spindles inside frame. The frame components paralleling the spindles are mortised through the perpendicular frame components and the joints are pinned. The black ash spindles were shaped with a draw knife and spokeshare and are through mortised in the frame sides as well. Rack appears to have been painted, probably white, at some time but little paint remains.
