Beanpot
Stoneware beanpot used for baked beans, Canterbury, NH
Description
Stoneware bean pot and lid with salt glaze. Outside is glossy with tan bottom half and top half (save for naked lip) dipped in dark brown Albany slip which coats matte interior. What appear to be throwing lines run up pot to base of handles. Pot has two handles, one on each side. Outside of lid is glossy brown, save for the knob, which is naked matte dark brown. Inside of lid similarly naked.
