Solid metal oval peg awl with an eye-dropper-like shape. The base is made up of a diamond-like shape with the points cut flat. One half of the diamond is 7/16" long and the other is 5/8" long. The longer side meets the shaft of the awl. The awl is octagonal and tapers toward the tip. The tip is rounded.
