Vol. VI, No. 19 issue of the New-York Weekly Tribune, published Saturday, January 16, 1847. On page 6 on the right column is a piece titled "Shaker Farm," credited to the Albany Cultivator. The piece gives a detailed description of the layout and features of the North Family's Great Stone Barn.
