Vol. VIII, No. 4 issue of The Shaker Manifesto, published April 1878. On the front cover is an engraving captioned "Our Home at Watervliet, N. Y."; it is the same image as was published in The Manufacturer and Building, 1891 (2020.16.91), and shows the Watervliet Church Family. On page 91 is an engraving showing the Mount Lebanon North Family as seen from the Great Stone Barn. The caption notes that the image was published courtesy of The American Socialist, which published the same image in the February 21, 1878 issue (2020.16.93); the image is based upon a photograph taken by James Irving.
