Description

White pine hat mold. Oval shaped with the bottom dished out from end to end and a square 1 1/16" mortise through the center. 1 1/16" hole drilled blind to either side of the square mortise, plus a 1/4" hole between one 1 1/16" hole and the end of the mold. Penciled script on the bottom was applied before the holes were drilled, and reads "Peter H....y". Written in red pencil is "HR...". On the top, penciled script reads "Front" and in red pencil, "H.R." and some other illegible entries.
