Description

Maroon wool dress that has been treated with zinc chloride. The bodice has two panels at front, tucked at the waist on the sides, and four panels at the back, and is lined with light brown cotton reinforced with tan cotton pieces at the underarms. The neck is edged with blue-green cotton. The sleeves are formed of a single piece of fabric each, lined at the cuff with navy blue swiss-dotted cotton edged with black binding. The cuffs fasten with a single black button. Apron front fastened with pins. The skirt is deeply pleated at the back, and the hem is edged with gold-brown binding.
