Description

Native American-made snowshoes with white ash (Fraxinus americana) frames and rawhide (possibly buckskin) weave. (.1a) has no bindings except for some lengths of twine. (.1b) has remnants of leather bindings and laces but the leather is of a different color than the woven hide so it may be a replacement.
