Description

A cast iron assembly consisting of a 1 5/8" diameter shaft stepped down to about 1 1/2" diameter at a collar near one end. Mounted on the 1 1/2" shaft is a flange set which could be locked onto some other mechanism by means of a hexagonal nut threaded onto the end of the threaded end of the shaft. Toward the opposite end of the shaft there is another step down to 1 1/2" diameter and at about 29" from the threaded end, a 26" diameter wheel (fly wheel?) is mounted. The rim of this wheel is about 2 1/4" thick and the outside edge has a 7/8" flat cast into it. The center of the wheel is solid except for two 1 1/2" diameter holes, and is 3/8" thick. At the end of the shaft an iron drive pulley is mounted. This pulley is 7 5/8" diameter and face is 5 1/4" high.
