A 14 1/4" diameter pulley, 7 3/4" high, of laminated white pine (Pinus strobus) mounted on a length of 1 1/4" square iron shafting. Layers of white pine are doweled together. Dowels are of mixed hardwoods - some red oak (Quercus rubra), others are diffuse porous hardwoods. One balance hole has been drilled into face of pulley and filled with lead. Some loss of wood from pulley.
