Heavy work table of chestnut (Castanea dentata). Four splayed legs through-tenoned in a cleat secured to the underside of the top. A trestle is through-tenoned through each leg for rigidity. The 3 1/4" thick top has a 1/2" bead on all four sides at its bottom. Cleat, leg, and trestle arrises are chamfered.
