Description
Legs and trestles of maple (Acer spp.). Iron bolts and square nuts hold the legs together in X-shape and allow it to be collapsed. Tenons on the tops of the legs are mortised through the trestles; the joints are not pinned. Canvas strips about 17" wide were sewn together and the outside edges tacked to the outsides of the trestles with iron tacks (1" or greater intervals). Wood painted mustard yellow. Measured when collapsed.
