Description
B/W. View of a model of a hand-operated wash mill or washing machine, similar though not identical to washing machine 1958.10731.1 in the museum's collection. The model has a metal hand crank which turns two wood agitator arms up and down in a tub with a semi-circular bottom. The model is posed on a stone staircase of the Sabbathday Lake dwelling house.
