Description

A cutting device consisting of a piece of cherry with a corner cut out. A steel cutter is mortised into the back of one edge of the cut-out. A lever arm assembly is also secured to the back of the cherry consisting of a movable arm, a connector and a movable blade holder of cherry as well. A trapezoidal blade is mortised into the face of the blade holder and this blade is pulled past the cutting edge of the fixed blade when the lever arm is pulled. An adjustable sheet metal fence is secured to the blade holder's back with two flat head wood screws whose position is adjustable by means of three further flat head wood screws through the front of the holder whose points hold the fence a fixed distance from the back.
