Description

Steel chisel-like tool with both sides of cutting edge beveled like a turning chisel. Rectangular cross-section extends about 4 5/8" back from cutting edge where it transforms to a circular cross-section. This cylindrical shaft is set into a maple handle that is turned and then two faces flattened. Handle has an iron ferrule. Tool shaft encircled by tacks at handle mortise to hold it in place. 1/2" blade width.
