Description

Cardboard box with lid, blue ink, round green paper seals on two long sides of box. Box probably was commercially produced, scored cardboard with taped corners. Lid fits completely over bottom. Printed in blue on top of lid, "Shaker Home Made Chocolate Peppermints Net Weight Half Pound," with image of the Sabbathday Lake meetinghouse. Box was sealed with two round green Sabbathday Lake trademark stickers, attached to the bottom, now torn in half, and one intact sticker is attached to the side of the lid; one sticker is inside the box.

Notes

Used to package candies made at Sabbathday Lake under the direction of Sister Mildred Barker.
