Description
May be a piece cut from a shawl. Wool yarn, mostly plied gray and white giving an overall mottled appearance. Two wide stripes of dark gray, nearly black, flanked by narrower stripes of lighter gray, overlapping in one corner to form black blocks and white bands, like a plaid pattern.

Attributed to Enfield, NH on the basis of its similarity to a shawl in the Museum's collection from Enfield, NH.
