(a) Ceramic container with conical inside and a spout 3 1/8"H and 3 15/16" diameter with a 1 3/8" diameter spout extending about 2" out from side. White glaze inside and out. (b) Lid 3 15/16" diameter and 11/16" H. Lid is turned wood, likely pine (Pinus strobus) with a 9/16" diameter maple (Acer spp.) knob tenoned into center of lid. Lid painted red-orange.
