A knitting needle scabbard with a turned bone holder fastened in a heart-shaped pocket. Front of fabric pocket is (was?) multicolored velvet, back is of blue wool fabric, and the two sides are bound together with lavender fabric tape.
Holds knitting needle. Worn pinned to sisters' dresses while they did handwork so that the needle would not be dropped or lost.
