Circular, lidded basket of black ash splint. Hand-carved, flat, split rim with single lashing. Uprights 5/8" - 3/4" w; weavers 1/8" w. A split upright on the base's interior. Lid has two notches on the sides so lid fits over the handle. Split upright in the center of lid, 9" in diameter. The hand-carved, bonnet-shaped handle is double-notched and attached on the interior.
