Description

Wheelwright's bench. Bench wider at bottom than top. Four legs have notched interior and rounded exterior; sheet metal strips on legs at middle and top. Planks set in notches; two sides have oblong cut outs. Slit above planks on sides without handles. Open center with rectangular tenon-jointed cross bar.

Notes

Used by blacksmiths to hold iron wheels in place while being repaired.
